The insert itself should be spot-cleaned only. However, if the PillowWeight is permanently installed inside a pillow cover, the entire pillow can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. The fastening strips are machine wash and machine dry safe.

Each PillowWeight insert weighs exactly 1 pound (16oz). The weight comes from premium microglass beads — not metal plates or rigid inserts — so the weight is soft, flexible, and distributed evenly across the 10x10 inch insert.

How do I install PillowWeights?

Installation takes under one minute and requires no tools. Step 1: Remove the pillow from the cover and flip the cover inside out on a flat surface. Step 2: Attach the included fastening strips to the PillowWeight along the velcro square. Step 3: Center and press the adhesive side of the PillowWeight onto the back interior of the pillow cover. Replace the pillow and enjoy.

Yes. The shell is made from UV-resistant, water-resistant ripstop nylon rated for long-term outdoor exposure. PillowWeights hold up through rain, sun, and daily outdoor use. They are wind tested to 50mph using a calibrated anemometer — documented with video proof.
